We ate lunch in the shade of mature trees beside this classical church
abandoned in the Soviet era when the area was home to the largest submarine
training station in the Soviet Union. Row upon row of semi empty, barrack like
apartment blocks are testament to the once huge community now dwindling and
apparently poverty stricken. Very pleasant coast line though with interesting remains of heavy machinery.
